The Final P-Day

Monday, July 25, 2016 was my last preparation day as a missionary. Since I didn't have anything to prep for really, we went out and spent a day on the town! The amazing Sister Bowen of the Charlestown Ward took Sister Windley and I to Louisville and we had a play day!

I had been packed for the last three transfers because I was only taking home winter clothing. So once spring hit and I not longer had any need for it, it stayed packed... All I had to do was consolidate the three skirts and four shirts I was bringing home for the coming week. Grateful to have an easy process coming home! The only struggle was the weight limit!
pretty much all I have to pack is my foam mattress pad.
packing isn't hard! the weight limit is the struggle!

And so we headed down to Louisville to the Frazier Museum! It was so cool! I love history museums! I wanted to read every sign and document but there was jus too much! We learned ALL about the Lewis & Clark expedition and Prohibition in Kentucky. We even got to dress up! :)

and play in canoes.

Mom and Dad always teased me about my room being so messy when I was younger. (for the record, it is now very clean) They would always say "we are going to find Al Capone in there!" well Mom and Dad, I FOUND HIM! and shared the gospel with him! :) hahah

Sister Bowen crushed me at checkers..
meanwhile, Sister Windley got a drink. HAAH

The WINCHESTER rifle! Here ya go DAD! :)
after the Frazier Museum we walked inside the Slugger Museum! :)
We finished our p-day at Cheesecake Factory. It was DELICIOUS! I loved every second of the day! It was a total blast!

At the end of the night we were pooped. All of our lessons fell through and Sister Windley got sick so she had to sleep. It was a bummer, but I am so grateful for the crazy day we did have!

SO much love,
Sister Hannah
